Scholars Society at UC San Diego
About Us
Scholars Society at UC San Diego is a vibrant student organization that supports recipients of prestigious merit-based scholarships, including the Regents, Chancellor’s, Chancellor’s Associates, and Jacobs Scholarships. Our mission is to build an inclusive community of high-achieving students through leadership development, professional growth, and meaningful social engagement.
As both a social network and a resource hub for UC San Diego scholars, we host a variety of events, from networking mixers and career panels to volunteer opportunities and mentorship programs. Scholars Society empowers members to connect with peers, explore leadership opportunities, and make the most of their time at UC San Diego academically, socially, and professionally.
Membership is automatic for scholarship recipients, and students can get more involved by joining committees, taking on leadership roles, or attending our signature events throughout the year.
