Join us for this year’s Legacy Lecture featuring Professor Maziar Ghazinejad from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering! Chosen by popular vote from students across UC San Diego, Professor Ghazinejad will share insights from his journey in research, teaching, and engineering innovation.

Professor Ghazinejad joined the Jacobs School of Engineering in 2018 after earning his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Riverside. His work spans mechanical and electrical engineering, carbon nanomaterials, engineering education, and much more. A recipient of the Provost’s Faculty Award and the DEED Award from the American Public Power Association, he is also an active member of ASME, MRS, ASEE, and SPIE. Come celebrate excellence in teaching and research—and hear from one of UCSD’s most inspiring professors!
