6:30 PM - 8:00 PM in the Red Shoe Room, Price Center. We kicked off Spring Quarter with icebreakers, time to meet other scholars, and a preview of spring events including Media Day, Roommate Mixer, Scholars Welcome Series, Inter-UC Conference, Torrey Pines Hike, Prestigious Scholarship Workshop, and more.
Week 1
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Rady School of Management. Scholars had the opportunity to take individual headshots and group photos, whether for LinkedIn, internship applications, or a polished professional photo to have on hand.
Week 2
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM at Student Services Center, Conference Room 300. Scholars looking for housing connected with fellow Regents, Jacobs, Chancellor's, Chancellor's Associates, and Alumni Leadership Scholars in a relaxed setting to meet potential roommates for the upcoming year.
Week 4
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the Bear Room, Price Center, and on Zoom. Recipients of competitive scholarships and fellowships shared firsthand insight into the application process, what helped their applications stand out, and how these opportunities shaped their academic and professional paths.
Week 4
12:30 PM - 2:30 PM at Mama's Kitchen, 3960 Home Ave, San Diego, CA 92105. Scholars gave back to the local community by helping Mama's Kitchen plate meals for underserved neighbors. Meet at Peterson Loop at 11:50 AM.
Week 5
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM in Conference Room 350, Student Services Center. Mentors and mentees celebrated the program with a Jeopardy-style game night featuring questions about past Scholars Society events, prizes for winners, and time to connect during exam season.
Week 6
12:00 PM - 10:00 PM at SomiSomi UTC. Grab your friends and enjoy taiyaki and ice cream after midterms. Show the flyer posted on Instagram at checkout.
Week 7
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM at the Gliderport. Join us for a relaxed evening watching the sun set over the ocean. Bring a dish to share and enjoy good food, music, and company.
Week 8
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Outback Climbing Center, Canyonview Aquatic Center. Try something new, cheer each other on, and unwind from midterms in a fun, supportive environment. No experience needed.
Week 9
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the ASML Conference Center, SME Building, 2nd Floor. Congratulations to the 2026 Legacy Lecture winner, Professor Justin Opatkiewicz. Hear Dr. Opatkiewicz reflect on life experiences, lessons learned, and the legacy they hope to leave behind.

Week 9
11:00 AM - 11:00 PM at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, 8785 Villa La Jolla Dr, La Jolla, CA 92037. Take a break from classes and studying with friends over pizookies, pizza, burgers, and more. Show the flyer at checkout.
Week 9
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Jacobs & Cushman SD Food Bank Warehouse, 9850 Distribution Ave, San Diego, CA 92121. Scholars will inspect, sort, and pack food for distribution. Meet at Peterson Loop at 5:30 PM.

Week 10
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Price Center, Marshall College Room. Wrap up the year, celebrate the Mentor-Mentee Program, and recognize the connections, growth, and memories made throughout the year.
